Dear Colleagues,

Once again, the SINC2 network invites you to its biennial symposium, which aims to bring together computational and systems neuroscientists under the umbrella of the Spanish Society of Neuroscience. On this occasion, we will celebrate the 5^th SINC2 Symposium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on September 3^rd, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, during the 20^th SENC Congress. This symposium will mark the 10^th anniversary of the network’s creation.

As usual, the symposium will feature talks from our members, short "data blitz" presentations (2–3 minutes), and an invited researcher. Those interested in presenting their work during the symposium can submit their proposals via a form accessible through this link, which will remain open until March 31, 2025. As always, we will strive to create a diverse and high-quality scientific program, including both computational and systems talks, while also promoting visibility for female researchers, who are underrepresented in these fields. We encourage all participants to foster a scientific discussion environment during the symposium to enhance learning and collaboration..

Finally, after 10 years since its founding, we believe it is time for a leadership transition within the network. If you are interested in becoming part of the SINC2 organizational team, please send an email to sinc2explorer@gmail.com. with your candidacy. We consider a postdoctoral level to be the minimum requirement for applicants. We hope that several individuals will step forward with enthusiasm to take on this role.
