We are in the Big Data era! Data acquisition technology has improved enormously in recent years allowing a rapid accumulation of data by experimental groups. In most cases, these groups do not have neither the knowledge nor the time for appropriate analyses of their data. Similarly, computational groups need biological data to generate and test their models as well as deeper understanding of the cellular mechanisms underlying biological processes. SINC2 tries to solve these issues within the Neuroscience community by promoting a fluent communication between the experimental and computational Neuroscience communities.
